Learning she's accepted into the same high school as her best friend Run, Toru hurries to tell her, only to find Run with another girl, Yuko, in a compromising position. School starts off awkwardly as Toru fends off guys interested in Run, while Yuko and their other friend Nagi have to deal with Run's carefree attitude. As the school year progresses, the four girls find time to have fun together and ways to handle the unexpected problems life throws at them.
